Over the weekend Weezy spoke with MTV News’ Rob Markman at the annual Magic Convention in Vegas to promote TRUKFIT and his new sneaker with Supra about all of the bad luck he’s experienced (BY HIS OWN DOING!!!!!!!!!!!) in NYC: a gun charge in 2007, Summer Jam incident this summer where he pulled Nicki Minaj from performing, etc.
He did try his best to extend an olive branch to you New Yorkers when he touched on some positive times, for example, the makeup Summer Jam concert at Roseland last week that Nicki put on where she brought out Foxy Brown, Drake and Camron:
“You’re not supposed to leave it at, ‘Everything happens for a reason,’ ” Wayne said of how the failed Summer Jam set turned into a blessing in disguise. “I believe everything happens for a reason and then you make the most of that reason. I think we made the most of it last week.”
