Remember when we reported that Basketball Wives star Shaunie O’Neal (and Executive Producer of the show) said that if she had her way, three people would be on the chopping block to be axed from the show?
Well we may have some sort of idea who those three are.
According to TMZ, Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams and Kesha Nichols are said to not be returning to the show that have now made them household names.
According to sources, producers will be giving the girls their walking papers any day now to drop what they called “dead weight” from the show.
We’re told Royce was cut because she wasn’t legally allowed to talk about Dwight due to a 2009 gag order, blocking her from discussing her ex in any way. The other girls on the show had also decided to ostracize her, so Royce couldn’t shoot scenes with the rest of the cast.
As for the others — producers think Jennifer’s too big a liability after suing Nia Crooks for slapping her on the show. And Kesha was just too boring.
Dancers, as I’ve said before it all comes down to dollars and cents in the entertainment business. Royce and Kesha, I can understand why they could possibly be getting the axe. But Jennifer? I won’t believe that until “receipts” are shown. ESPECIALLY when her and Evelyn “made up” at the reunion show. Viewers would LOVE to see their interaction now on the show!
Well as you know, right now this talk is nothing but a rumor. A rep for VH1 tells TMZ, “We don’t comment on casting until everything is final. Thanks for checking in.”
Well I personally think its a big mistake to get rid of Jen there is still wayyyyyyyyy to much story there regarding her and Evelyn.
