Nicki Minaj hit the promotional trail HEAVY yesterday promoting her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded which dropped yesterday, by hitting up a Best Buy in Harlem, NYC on Tuesday.
Many critics have said that Nicki has “sold out” with her new album and sound venturing over to the pop world. And I must say, aren’t artists supposed to push themselves and their sounds? I HATE when people use the phrase “sell out”. EFF YOU!!! It’s as if some folks want you to stay in a box. And who cares what these people think….especially if they are not the ones who support you anyway!
And this is coming from a person isn’t particularly fond of Nicki. But when it comes to BUSINESS and ARTISTRY, just know that you can’t please everyone.
Soooooo, have you guys copped Nicki’s new album Dancers?!?!? Thoughts?
