Basketball Wives newcomer and aspiring “singer” Kenya Bell has been thrust into the public spotlight once again by her estranged ex-husband Charlie Bell, accusing her of excessive spending in the couple’s latest divorce battle.
According to TMZ, Charlie, who currently plays overseas in Italy, accuses Kenya of “allegedly squandering hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years”, some of which include:
– $82,000 on a Corvette, which she drove for 3 weeks — then resold it for $61,000
– $12,000 on a motorcycle
– $20,000 on criminal attorneys
– $150,000 on “miscellaneous expenses to get even with Mr. Bell”
– $3,000 on her brother’s electric bill
– $9,000 on luggage and shoes
– and $110,000 on plastic surgeries and expenses in L.A. for the plastic surgery trips
Plastic surgery? It all makes sense now.
Charlie filed a response to these charges only when Kenya accused him of shopping it up at stores in Paris like Louis Vuitton while her and her children continue to struggle. Charlie also wants it noted that before he left for Europe, he gave Kenya $200K and wants the court to deny her request for him to set aside a large chunk of his money for support.
The judge has not ruled in this case.
