Vancouver? That’s pretty random, right? Well, not so much.
The Real Housewives’ franchise has stepped outside of The States and produced a spinoff show, The Real Housewives of Vancouver, which will highlight an area people often call “Hollywood North” because of it’s role in the movie-making biz (many Hollywood movies are filmed in Vancouver because of low costs).
In a promotional video, where the five women introduce themselves, West Vancouver’s Jody Claman says, “I wish god just gave me one personality, but I have many depending on the situation.” Meanwhile, Reiko MacKenzie, who raises two daughters in Shaughnessy, says that she “loves luxurious, beautiful things… fashion, cars”. Mary Zilba, a single mom in Yaletown, says that she was a Canadian pop star for more than 10 years with seven top-40 hits. Ronnie Seterdahl Negus is a mother of five and a winery owner, and perhaps the most outrageous of them all, Cristina Kiesel, claims that she’s 29 years old and that her “primary source of income is two divorces”.
Real Housewives of Vancouver WILL NOT premiere on Bravo television, but rather Canada’s Slice channel on April 4th.
Ummmmmmmm. I guess….
