Justice was partially served on Tuesday afternoon after Eric Holder, the 29-year-old man accused as the killer of Grammy nominated hip-hop star and entrepreneur Nipsey Hussle, was arrested in the suburban city of Bellflower, outside of Los Angeles.
After his initial arrest by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Holder was transferred to the custody of the LAPD’s South Bureau Homicide unit and is being held on a $7 million bond, according to booking records. He will likely make his first court appearance by the end of the week.
A woman who authorities allege was Holder’s getaway driver turned herself in on Tuesday. She was later released without being arrested.
In related news, Hussle’s longtime partner and the mother of his three-year-old son, actress Lauren London, broke her silence on social media late Tuesday evening after Holder’s arrest saying she is “lost” without the rapper.
“I’ve lost my best friend. My sanctuary. My protector. My soul….I’m lost without you,” she wrote alongside a series of pictures of the rapper and their family. “We are lost without you babe. I have no words.”
We continue to pray for Nipsey and his family. RIP.
