Selena Gomez is opening up for the first time about her recent kidney transplant that she received from her good friend Francia Raisa, who she credits as saving her life!
“My kidneys were just done. That was it,” the singer said in the sneak peek exclusive interview on The Today Show with Raisa. “I didn’t want to ask a single person in my life and that was the day, when I came home, I found out she volunteered and did it.”
“You feel that Francia saved your life,” Today host Savannah Guthrieasked of Gomez.
“Because she did,” Gomez replied. “That’s it.”
The full interview will air next week on Today.
