Georgina Chapman is pulling the plug on her 10 year marriage with Harvey Weinstein after a slew of women have now come forward with allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct!
“My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time,” the Marchesa fashion designer and co-founder says in a statement to PEOPLE.
Since the scandal, Weinstein has been fired from his company that he co-founded with his brother Robert Weinstein, a leaked audio has emerged where a man presumed to be Weinstein can be heard admitting to groping model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, and women like Ashley Judd, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow and other have come forward with their stories of harassment by the film producer.
Weinstein, 65, and Chapman, 41, married in 2007 and have two children together — India Pearl, 7, and Dashiell Max Robert, 4.
In related news, according to The Blaze, Weinstein is entering a treatment facility to get help amid the scandal. He is said to be checking into a live-in treatment facility out of the country as early as today.
