Brad Pitt was joined by pregnant actress and costar Marion Cotillard at the Los Angeles premiere of Allied at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Wednesday.
The premiere marks the first public appearance for Pitt since wife, actress Angelina Jolie, filed for divorce back in September.
“It’s really sweet, everyone has been really kind out here,” Pitt said thanking fans throughout this ordeal, according to E! News. “It’s really nice to have all the support.”
In some positive Brangelina news, the 52-year-old actor has been cleared of wrongdoing by officials at the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services after a child abuse investigation was conducted. He was accused of being physically and verbally abusive toward the couple’s older son, Maddox, on an airplane this past summer.
In response to the news, Jolie’s rep released the following statement: “The job of the DCFS is to make sure the children are in a safe and secure situation. As we said earlier this week, childcare professionals encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides that was in the best interest of the children. Angelina said from the beginning that she felt she had to take action for the health of the family and is relieved that after their 8-week involvement, the DCFS is now satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children to heal.”
