Singer Chris Brown has decided to speak out against claims that he assaulted former Miss California Baylee Curran during a party at his Tarzana, CA home last month.
Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after what media outlets are calling a nine-hour standoff with the Los Angeles Police Department. Brown has maintained his innocence from the beginning, and him and his legal team say that he will be vindicated because they have text messages which show Curran lied about the whole ordeal.
“I cannot wait till the truth comes to light about this incident and this situation,” Brown said in the video submitted to Good Morning America. “You know, because my character’s been defaced and who I am as a person and [my] integrity.”
“I’m glad all my real supporters know me, and know the truth and see the truth,” he added.
